Rio Grande Valley Nature Festivals and Events - Texas Butterfly Festival

The Texas Butterfly Festival is an annual gathering in Mission, Texas of butterfly lovers from all over. Usually in October, high hundreds of participants join together for 3 days of outdoor events for adults and children.

Festival participants meet up with old friends and make new ones while learning about specialty butterflies in South Texas, rare butterflies and enjoying the diverse sub-tropical climate that only the Rio Grande Valley can offer.
